The Health Care Science Institute (IKEN) leverages its characteristics as a private public-interest corporation to conduct research projects on topics in the field of healthcare science that are less likely to be eligible for government research funding.
In IKEN Research Project, we conduct the "Knowledge Structuring Initiative." This project aims to build a foundation of knowledge (information infrastructure) by broadly collecting and organizing interdisciplinary perspectives and opinions on important themes in the field of healthcare sciences.
In the Special Theme Research Project, we focus on themes in the field of healthcare sciences that are difficult to address within universities or government agencies. A project team consisting of experts and practitioners organizes the current situation and challenges, explores solutions, and publishes a report.
